Care guide
Handmade pieces can last long enough to pass on. A little care keeps them soft, the right shape and the right colour.

Clothing and blankets
- Hand wash in cold water with a mild baby detergent
- Squeeze gently; never rub or wring
- Roll in a towel to press out water
- Dry flat in the shade and reshape with your hands
- No tumble dryer, no iron on the stitches, no bleach
Plushies
- Spot clean with a damp cloth and a drop of baby soap
- For a full wash, hand wash cold and squeeze out water in a towel
- Reshape while damp and air dry completely before giving it back
Embroidery
Embroidered names are stitched with colourfast cotton thread. Turn embroidered clothing inside out before washing, and don't soak it for more than ten minutes.
Nursery decor
- Dust mobiles and wall hangings with a soft, dry brush
- Keep them out of direct sunlight so the colours stay soft
- Check strings and hooks every few weeks
